Cowboy Ball To Benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona

Slap on your spurs and head out to Old Tucson Studios for the third annual COWBOY BALL on Friday, November 6, 2009, from 5pm – 10pm.  The event, which will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona is presented by Tanque Verde Ranch. The evening festivities will feature cocktails on Old Tucson’s Main Street, dinner in the Grand Palace Hotel & Saloon, a hosted bar, silent and live auctions and western performers. In keeping with the theme of the evening, guests are encouraged to dress in their best “Cowboy Chic” style. One of the highlights of the evening will be a performance by legendary country band “Restless Heart.” The evening will be emceed by actor and comedian Bob Elliot. 

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical condition.  With the support of  more than 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish experience makes life-changing impacts on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.  Tucson boasts nearly 100 Make-A-Wish volunteers, along with four members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.  Learn more about the Foundation at Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona and  Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
