Tu Nidito Children and Family Services – City Slicker Rodeo Team Building, June 2011
At Tu Nidito, the work we do with children and their families impacted by a serious medical condition and/or death can be emotionally draining. To provide some welcome relief, we seek out quarterly opportunities for fun and team building. We had no idea that Old Tucson would be such a resource! As we learned about the programs available, we all became very excited, yet skeptical that the Old Tucson would meet our high expectations Needless to say, it did – even more than we had hoped! Who can match a team competition in unique western skills including cow chip throwing,“horse” roping, building a “horse” and more. Trough friendly staff competition and shared laughter we met all of our goals for team building. The experience could not have been better! The Old Tucson staff were friendly and ready to offer assistance or encouraging word. They are truly proud of the history and being a part of Old Tucson. Without hesitation, we would recommend a team building day (or two!) at Old Tucson for any kind of organization or business. You’ll get the bang for your buck – no pun intended! ~ L. McCusker
Below, Western Movie Magic is a team building activity like no other. Teams have the opportunity to learn new skills as they come together to produce and star in a movie that they then share at a “premiere.”

Here’s what Joe Jeanette of Creative Group, Inc. had to say about a November 2008 client event featuring Old Tucson Western Movie Magic Team Building Experience:
It is easy for us to recommend the “Movie Magic Experience” that Old Tucson offers event planners. If you’re looking for a customized and “wow” activity, there is no better fit when in Tucson, Arizona.
I’ve been in the event planning business since 1973 with projects held worldwide. My customers depend on our destination knowledge to build the best programs possible. Old Tucson is a community icon. Our client was looking for a memorable off-site recognition event for their annual sales incentive trip scheduled for Tucson. It was a no brainer to pick-up the phone and call their group department to discuss Old Tucson’s capabilities in creating such a venue.
After a bit of brainstorming and a client site, we felt the “Movie Magic Experience” option was a perfect fit. They have the infrastructure, staff talent and value that were necessary to create something special. The end result was a customized team building movie making experience, followed by a high-end cowboy party that exceeded our clients and program participant’s expectations.

CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services had this to say about their 2009 Chili Cook-Off Competition:
Thank you again for helping us plan and coordinate such a wonderful event at Old Tucson! The chili cook-off and presentation competitions went off flawlessly and I know everyone had an absolute blast! Please let everyone involved in putting this together know what a good time everyone had. And dinner was great, too! ~ L. Shireman
