Old Tucson Studios and the Mrs. America Delegates Old Tucson Studios hosted the 2006 Mrs. America delegates for a fun-filled day of Western adventure and entertainment recently. The Mrs. America Organization chose Tucson as its
home for the 2006 competition, which was held at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. Activities at area attractions were organized to showcase Tucson as part of the nationally-televised program.Old Tucson Studios
planned a very interactive day for the delegates, who arrived at 10am and departed in the early afternoon. Some became cast members in one of Old Tucson's
famous stunt shows and learned how to perform basic fight sequences, while others were filmed taking lessons in gun-twirling and can-can dancing. |
