Dear Grandma – Mommy and Auntie Sarah took me to Old Tucson Studios. We had so much fun!

We saw the most amazing shows! There were cowboys (and cowgirls!) in gunfights and stunt shows with explosions and everything. And beautiful ladies in fancy dresses dancing in the saloon. My favorite part was having my picture taken with the actors and being in the show with the ladies.

Note:  Tuesdays & Wednesdays are tour-only days.  Enjoy historian-guided set tours, movie history museums, and limited food service.  Last tour begins at 2:30 p.m.  (No shows or rides available.)  Trail and stagecoach rides available at an additional charge.

After the show, the whole cast joined in for a picture.

The rides were so much fun. We rode the train around the town and into the desert with the giant cactus and mountains. Then I drove an old-fashioned car all by myself, rode on a really cool old carousel.

It was soooo much fun to drive the car. Mommy says I’m a good driver.

We got so hungry and stopped for lunch at Big Jake’s. I had a corndog with fries and Mommy and Auntie Sarah had some BBQ. It was real good. Then we walked all around, looked in the buildings and checked out the stores. It felt just like we were in the olden days. The last thing we did was go for a real horse ride with a real cowboy.

Mom helped me press a penny in a big machine.
